Hi, I'm Tarcy
WHO I AM
I am happy to be a resident of one of the most vibrant cities in the world. From festivals to concerts to our river valley and parks system, I am proud to call Edmonton home. I am very much a family man, with a wife and two teenage daughters. We are also dog owners, one rescue and one Norwegian Elkhound adopted out of Manitoba.
A VISION FOR THE FUTURE
This city needs a solid plan for the future. From infill housing and the impact on neighbourhoods, to proper transit for the people who live there, we need to coordinate our efforts to ensure residents are getting proper value for their tax dollar, and services are at or above the expected levels.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE FROM THE NEXT CITY COUNCIL
Projects that start on-time, finish on-time and are completed at, or under, budget.
Local sourcing of contracts wherever possible, to support Edmonton business.
Bring city overspending under control.
Property tax reductions.
Services that live up to what we are paying for.
Incentives to perform above expectations, and under budgets in city departments.
An efficient, effective transit system that is easily available to all residents, and user-friendly.
A multi-use path system that doesn't choke our busiest roads, and still keeps users safe and healthy.
Protection for Edmonton's glorious river valley and parks system as we transition into new emerging technologies.
Compromise. Let's figure out what works best for residents based on their input. It doesn't have to be one person or idea against another.
A city that is run on common sense, not ideals.
