Let's Make a Difference

WHERE I COME FROM
I was originally born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. My mother, and my grandmother (Nana) both lived here as I transitioned into a teenager and young adult, so I spent many summers and holidays right here in Edmonton. This city holds many firsts for me, including my first flight landing at city centre airport, my first CFL game (EE vs BC), and my first time riding a train in the big city.
A THRIVING CAREER
I have owned Advanced Entertainment (Previously Advanced DJ Services) since its inception in 2007. Prior to (and for the first three years of the company) I worked in radio, both on-air and in advertising sales. Radio was an adventure that took me all over Western Canada, with Edmonton always being the target place to land. When the opportunity arose to move here, we jumped at the chance.
WHAT CHANGES I WANT TO MAKE
Most importantly, I want to protect Edmonton’s crown jewel, the river valley and the whole greenbelt ecosystem.
I want to find efficient uses of our tax dollars and will advocate to start at the top, with a 10% reduction in salaries for the mayor and councillors.
I hope to provide incentives for city managers & leaders to find more efficient ways of operating
I want to work alongside social agencies, advocates and stakeholders to find real solutions for our homeless population.
I want our transit system to be easily accessed by our most vulnerable, including our seniors. Making them walk further through unplowed streets to get to transit is not the best planning for citizens.
What you read here, are issues I have heard at the doors. I will be fully accessible. I will hold twice-monthly coffees/virtual meetings to discuss the issues YOU deem most important and the position I should take at the council table.
